A man who was caught on a cell phone camera as he groped the thigh of a 26-year-old drunken woman sitting next to him in the subway turned himself in to the police under the mounting pressure of Netizens spreading the video clip, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said Thursday.
The 74-second video clip, entitled, "The last train bound for Sindorim on Nov. 30,” caught a short fragment of the 46-year-old jobless man’s 10-minute-long sexual molestation. The molester, surnamed Cho, was revealed to the public because the passenger filmed the scene with his cell phone camera and uploaded it to the Web, causing a huge stir on Wednesday.
Feeling pressure from the public outrage, the molester voluntarily turned himself in to a police station Thursday morning.
Experts said this incident proved that even a layman, with a cell phone, can be a watchman in the Internet age.
Well, even those who makes such actions can't bear shame~~ I've heard that many people in Korea who, for example, who became bankrupt or made smth that is worth of reproaching, can even commit suicide.... in this case the man desided to go to police by himself!!! It's really shocking!
